Solidarity Energy Community Graz -SECG-
Proposal code: CONSUL-2025-11-23
I Martin want to establish a solidarity-based energy community. He contacts social institutions because they have direct access to low-income households.
With this approrach I can ensure that the benefits reach those who need them most. At the same time, I can mobilize acquaintances with photovoltaic systems and even manages to convince his parents' company to feed their surplus electricity into the community.
To build trust and reach people in a practical way, I organize free energy efficiency consultations directly in the facilities—and invite people to a PV party. At this PV party, there are short consultations, cooking together, and the opportunity to sign up for the solidarity-based pricing model right away. Through personal conversations, the website, and social media, the community is growing: affordable green electricity for low-income earners, knowledge about energy saving, and a new network of neighbors, social workers, and local initiatives.
